Job Description

My client is are currently looking for a committed HR Assistant/Officer to support the HR Director . The role will be based in London but will require some travel to regional offices. This is a great generalist role involving the administration of recruitment, starters and leavers, inductions, liaising with the training team, dealing with benefits, offer letters and contracts, references and all related paperwork plus maintaining the HR database. Working as a part of a central support team the environment is friendly, supportive but focused. Studying for or completed CPP or CIPD. Experience of dealing with investigations and disciplinary hearings. Able to project a professional, credible image with confident communication skills (both orally and in writing). First hand experience of recruitment including some interviewing. Strong IT Background to include advanced level Word and Excel, good knowledge of Powerpoint and Access with accurate typing skills. Experience of using HR databases including either running reports and/or implementation experience. Computer literate and an experienced user of Microsoft Office software to include advanced level Word, intermediate Powerpoint and Excel. Commitment to the role and be hardworking and focussed. Willingness to undertake further training and personal development.
