Our client is looking for a HR Officer to work with the HR Manager in providing a proactive HR service to all legal, secretarial and support staff in the London offices. You will be responsible for recruitment from writing job descriptions, preparing job ads, interviews and selection then inductions. You will look after employee relations, exit interviews, staff turn over, advise and counselling for staff as well as meeting regularly with the Group Secretaries/ Team Coordinators to keep the partners and Managers abreast of issues/ problems that may arise.
You will look after all remuneration processes such as conducting annual salary survey, assisting in the development of pay and benefit proposals for the salary review process as well as keeping informed of pay and benefit trends and market rates. You will also keep HR policies up to date as well as other general HR management task and projects.
Candidates will have a good grounding in an HR officer role in a professional services environment and at least part qualified towards CIPD with a good working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice. Good listening skills are essential as well as experience advising managers and dealing with all levels of staff.
