Successful outsourcing business requires an HR professional to cover an operational generalist role whilst getting involved in some additional projects. The generalist role will have one direct report and you will be covering a client group of approximately 400 which are mostly London based. You will be expected to build strong relations with clients and have regular interaction with them. In terms of projects there will be work around rewriting policies and procedures (so good employment law and previous experience of overhauling policies is essential), equality and diversity and work around mergers and acquisitions and potential TUPE.
Starting sometime in September, you will be reporting to an HRD but are expected to work autonomously so you must demonstrate the following in your application
- Experience of working as an HR generalist in a commercial or mixed commercial/public sector background
- Experience of re-writing policies and procedures including excellent knowledge of employment legislation
- Some understanding of equality and diversity issues within organisations
- Some practical TUPE experience and some exposure to work within mergers and acquisitions
