A fine opportunity has arisen at a well established yet rapidly expanding company based here in the North East. Due to business growth, our client is looking to appoint a Senior HR Officer to be based in their Newcastle head office.
The role, reporting directly in to the HR Manager, will suit a strong HR generalist with solid experience in employee relations, disciplinaries and grievances and trade union negotiations. Prior exposure to tribunals would be advantageous but is not essential.
However, the role is broader than that and will offer a real opportunity for an HR professional to really develop their skills away from the straightforward operational aspect of the job.
The ideal candidate will show an interest and will subsequently become involved in specific projects in areas such as succession planning, talent and performance management and employee engagement.
As well as the chance to join a major company at an exciting stage of new development, the role offers a real chance for a motivated professional to take the next step on the HR ladder and become involved in shaping the decision making within the business.
