Job Description

Exclusive Human Resources are delighted to represent this FMCG business who are looking for an Interim HR Officer.

The role can be either part time of full time and will be for a minimum period of 9 months.

Reporting in to the HR Manager and providing HR support and advice to the management team, the main key areas of responsibility will be:

• Recruitment and selection - handling all recruitment campaigns efficiently and cost effectively
• Graduate recruitment and induction
• Support and guide Line Managers with disciplinary and grievance matters
• Monitoring long term absence, support and plan a smooth return into the workplace
• Establish HR policies and procedures in support of business requirements in consultation with HR Manager and current legislation
• Reports to be provided using HR system to monitor retirement, service, salary levels etc
• Conduct the HR induction process
• Establish and maintaining computerised records system
• Supporting the application of major HR programmes and initiatives
• Handle any day to day employment relation issues
• Develop a relationship with the in-house trade union

Ideally we are looking for the successful candidate to be:

• CIPD qualified
• 3-5 years experience in HR role, preferably gained in FMCG
• Good working knowledge of employment law
• Good communication and influencing skills with staff at all levels
• Understanding of customer service
• Pro-active approach and ability to work independently
• Flexible, organised and adaptable approach to work
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent team player
