HR Manager – Oxfordshire – up to £35,000 plus benefits – Ref 5708
We have now registered a part-time HR Manager role, working for a scientific research facility in Oxfordshire.
This role is an autonomous stand alone position with responsibility for all people related issues. Some of the duties involved include all aspects of the recruitment and induction process; conducting disciplinary and grievance hearings; overseeing and organising staff training; and providing employment and legal advice.
You will be working for a Managing Director who is accessible, approachable and open to opinions. HR is respected in the company and staff welfare is important.
To be successful, you must have a strong knowledge of generalist HR issues, be part or fully CIPD qualified and ideally have a scientific background (although this is not essential). Direct experience in a stand alone role would also be advantageous.
Benefits include a discretionary bonus system, 22 days holiday rising to 27 with service, season ticket loan, contributory pension scheme, child care vouchers and free parking.
