My client, a public sector organisation is looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor for 6-9 months to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide a specialist advisory service that complies with current policies and employment legislation. In addition, you will manage complex HR issues including disciplinaries, grievances, departmental restructures, flexible working and re-locations. You will also be involved taking responsibility for managing the recruitment and selection process for uncommon, specialist and/or senior roles, determine the requirement and gain approval from local senior managers and Shared Services. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent people skills and a strong understanding of employment law. You will also have strong analytical skills, be CIPD qualified and have had previous and recent managerial experience.
