Job Description
This exciting role reports into the HR Manager and works along side a small but close team of 3 other HR professionals.
My Client is looking for a highly driven Assistant HR Manager to carry out the following tasks:
1. To manage all recruitment and selection activity for the company and to ensure an efficient and cost-effective recruitment service is provided. To carry out interviews for positions in the Company. To manage queries and invoices.
2. To manage the administration and implementation of change in the Company's annual salary review process and bonus scheme.
3. To review, develop and monitor HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation.
4. To provide advice and assistance when appropriate to employees/Managers relating to HR matters, including any staff grievances or disciplinary that may arise.
5. To advise and check the administration of all work permit applications and the maintenance of accurate records relating to work permits. Also to deal with correspondence relating to the exemption of National Insurance contributions for expatriates.
6. To manage the leavers process including conducting exit interview
Our client is looking for a proactive HR Generalist with a CIPD qualification or equivalent and a passion to make a positive difference. You will have a commercial outlook with examples of positively impacting the bottom line.The Assistant HR Manager will be a degree educated professional with practical experience within Employment Law. You will have experience within TUPE and/or Union experience.
As well as holding a broad knowledge of up to date HR concepts and practices the HR Manager will be aware of different cultural styles and the ability to recognise the most appropriate way of implementing best practice
