Job Description
As Head of Talent you will report to the Group HR Director and you will have responsibility for driving the strategic & operational talent activities across the EMEA regions, providing support to all key businesses within the group. An all encompassing role you will:-
• Develop far reaching, end to endtalent strategies & capabilities to partner the business strategies.
• Responsibility for delivering the implementation of a bespoke talent management system to partner the business with regard to internal talent pools & international mobility.
You will also possess the ability to engage with senior management to provide strategic talent advice with regard to the major overhaul of engagement of talent within the business.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Head of Talent who has operated with a large complex environment and has had exposure to the international environment. Experience and understanding of the detailed requirements of professional staff within the Engineering & Construction industries would be seen as highly advantageous. Specifically you should have a track record of having delivered large-scale talent programmes.
We are seeking a candidate who is able to combine both strategic thinking based on being a thought-leader in this field with a down-to-earth, unfussy and hands on approach. Equally you will have credibility and gravitas to enable you to engage with senior business leaders and persuade and influence them to adopt newly-created talent systems and processes.
You should be a good leader and manager - capable of building teams and creating an engaged group with a strong internal customer service ethos.
