This is a challenging and high profile role at the heart of a complex and stimulating shared service setting within the NHS. The Local Health Board Human Resource Team is a small professional team providing a comprehensive HR support to the Local Health Boards in the South Wales area. This is a vital role at a time of expected organisational change for Local Health Boards and you must be able to demonstrate substantial experience at a senior level and proven leadership skills.
To succeed within this role, you will be a strategic thinker who is able to influence, negotiate and persuade others when dealing with complex and sensitive issues. You must be CIPD qualified with a strong customer care focus and an excellent knowledge of employment legislation and good HR practice. Your previous senior HR experience will include provision of strategic HR advice at board level, change management and employee relations and resourcing.Previous experience of the issues facing the NHS would be advantageous.
