An international FMCG company are looking for some additional support to their HR team. This will initially be a 6 month contract supporting the Senior HR Manager with day to day work as well as additional projects. The main focus will be supporting the corporate Head Office.
Purpose of the Job/Context:- To provide professional support, guidance and advice in relation to all employee relations issues across the Company
- To ensure HR policies and practices comply with current legislation and that all levels of managers are fully educated and advised to ensure best practice
- To develop and coach the HR Administrator
Key Responsibilities:· Performance Management
- To help build and promote a performance culture that supports the values and goals of the business
- Help facilitate the annual performance review process to ensure consistency across divisions
· Employee Relations
- Manage all operational HR issues, delivering tangible solutions in line with business requirements i.e. flexible working requests
- Responsible for all grievance and disciplinary issues ensuring minimum risk to the company
· Recruitment & Selection
- Responsible for recruitment of high calibre staff from sourcing candidates, identifying appropriate selection tools and providing advice to Line Managers throughout the process to ensure that high calibre candidates are recruited.
- Organise & facilitate the assessment process throughout the business, including coordination and running of assessment centers, conducting structured interviews / group exercises and providing feedback.
- Responsible for identifying grade, compensation and benefits, and salary related to each role to be recruited for, to ensure the offer is in-line with our salary guidelines, market rates and internally equitable.
- Provide a specialist service in conjunction with the Recruitment Advisor for recruitment across the Company, continually reviewing best practice within the industry and recommending changes where appropriate.
· Employee Compensation and Benefits
- Advise individual employees regarding their maternity / paternity pay and leave entitlements and ensure compliance with all notification procedures.
- Responsible for salary proposals for new starters, internal moves etc. for sign off by the relevant Head of Department and the HR Manager
- Assist HR Manager by providing support for all aspects of compensation and benefits.
· Training and Development
- In conjunction with the HR Manager review the Training Needs Analysis following the annual performance process and work with line managers to develop Personal Development Plans for employees
- Liaise with Training Manager in regards to Training Management
