HR Advisor - Graduate Development (Human Resources)

Our client is one of the world's largest metal producers with an annual turnover of over £9 billion and major operating facilities in the U.K., the Netherlands, Germany, France, Norway, and Belgium. They have 41,200 employees in over 40 countries and sales offices and service centres worldwide.
The company currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Development Advisor to join their progressive team in Rotherham. This will be a key role in within their centre of expertise.
The post holder will be involved in the recruitment, selection, training and early career development of graduate trainees. The jobholder will also be responsible for the recruitment and deployment of placement students and sponsored students. The success of these processes help to ensure that some of the medium to long-term recruitment requirements of the business are satisfied.
In this role you will work closely with other Graduate Development Advisors and training providers to design and develop appropriate graduate T&D solutions. You will help to ensure that all graduates have clear routes to professional institute status and that, where applicable, graduate development schemes achieve and maintain accredited status.
Candidates will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and will ideally hold the CIPD qualification. A good understanding of professional institutes and routes to membership is also desirable along with a working knowledge of university liaison and careers routes.
The company are looking for a self-motivated individual with good planning and organisation skills, who is capable of communicating with people at all levels. This is a market-facing role in terms of direct contact with young people at pre-university, undergraduate and postgraduate stages; therefore the ability to engage effectively with the student population is critical. It is also important that you are results orientated and have the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
