Our client who is the largest business in their field and with a number off offices across the UK are looking to add to their HR Management Team in Guildford.
As a result of an internal move they have a requirement for a HR generalist to join them for a ten month assignment working with in a small team responsible for mentoring and couching other HR individuals. This will be an interesting role where you can real add value and make a difference.
Working closely with the business you will be responsible for influencing and educating line managers with regards to policies and processes. You will be required to role out new initiatives across the Guildford client group and harmonizing standard ways of working.
In addition to this you will also be tasked with some day to day operational duties such as ER; disciplinaries and grievances, recruitment, performance management and adhoc work.
Reporting into the HR director who is based in the North of UK you will need to have strong communication skills and be able to work remotely and have proven experience in influencing and making changes at a local level. You will preferably be CIPD qualified and it would be an advantage to have experience of working with Unions.
