My client is looking to recruit an HR Manager for their office in Surrey. Reporting to the Director, you will be providing proactive support to employees and line managers on a range of issues from performance management, recruitment through to disciplinary and grievances.
* You will be responsible for developing and maintaining HR policies and strategies to meet the business needs
* Provide employment laws updates and ensure policies and procedures are updated accordingly
* Manage the recruitment and selection process, advising on new methods and participating with interviews as necessary
* Attend management meetings to advise and offer guidance on staffing and succession planning solutions
* manage the staff induction process
* Maintain payroll and ensure the correct information is provided to Finance
* Take responsibility for attendance records and ensure sickness and absence is monitored
* Act as the first point of contact for all employee queries
* Support the HR assistant with ad-hoc administration and mentoring
Ideal candidate will have experience of working with senior managers, able to work autonomously, build relationships internally and with suppliers, solicitors, recruitment agencies etc.
