My client is looking to recruit a professional HR Manager to join their growing and interesting business. Supporting a specific client group, you will be responsible for building relationships with senior managers and providing innovative HR solutions to the business.
You will provide advice and guidance on policies, processes and practices to all employees and managers. Working closely with the HR team, you will identify areas where change is required and define creative and innovative solutions to meet the business objectives.
Responsible for managing the HR team, ensuring the effective support is provided for their development. Conducting appraisals and weekly reviews and managing their daily workload to ensure the smooth running of the HR team.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing recruitment and retention
* Managing sickness absence
* Implementing new performance management processes and coaching line managers as necessary
* Overseeing employee relations issues and managing high rish and complex cases
* Promote the company performance review process
* Coaching managers on employment law updates
* Providing Management Information and statistics to the board
You will be a strong generalist with experience of working at management level and ideally with a background in working in complex multi-site businesses.
