My client who are a multi site global business are looking to recruit an HR Manager into the businesses who will be responsible for the effective communication and coordination of all HR matters in the Hampshire based regional office. As the HR Manager you will effectively communicate the business strategies across the business which will include developing and maintaining positive relationships with the management teams, employees, partners and the customer. This position will see a good mix of generalist HR activities including recruitment and talent management looking at processes and procedures in the introduction of new employees to the company. You will also be looking at addressing the compensation and benefits programme to assist with retaining and attracting employees. As a key role the HR Manager will be developing and maintaining effective HR policies in line with current and future legislation, dealing with disciplinary and grievance matters, staff training and development. Due to some internal changes there will also be the need to cover TUPE related matters. This position is varied and will ask of the new HR Manager to be operating at all levels within the business. The ability to meet both the internal and external customer needs is essential. The successful candidate ideally CIPD Qualified . Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practice. Experience working with trade unions an advantage. Excellent communication skills.
