Subsidiary company of a FTSE 100 business is looking for a Head of Operations to join the HR function as the current incumbent is about to go on maternity leave.
The Head of HR Operations will manage the HR Operations team which operates within a shared service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Providing a pro-active HR Operations and Payroll service which partners effectively with the business leaders and the HR Business Partners
•Driving a proactive partnership with business leaders and HR Business Partners through the development of a customer-focused team.
•Contributing to HR strategy through the development and successful implementation of the HR Operations Plan
•Provide leadership within the HR team
•Working alongside the HR Business Partners, implement large scale restructuring/change programmes ensuring associated employee relations matters are handled sensitively and effectively
•Driving HR process improvements to ensure HR transactions are efficiently managed across the whole employee lifecycle (including recruitment, secondments, pay and benefits, training, absence, termination).
•Ensuring employee relations cases are dealt with appropriately including grievances, disciplinaries, equal opportunities, long term sick and non-standard performance management cases.
Key Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will have extensive generalist HR experience, (to include evidence of managerial, operational and strategic responsibilities.) Whilst it is not essential, preference is for applicants who have worked in a large organisation and/or a shared service environment. The CIPD qualification would also be advantageous.
