My client is a leading brand name in the UK market and has an energetic and professional working environment. As the Regional HR Manager you will work in partnership with the area managers to develop the capability of their people. The Regional HR Manager will be responsible for implementing the company HR practices with a consistent approach.
There are a number of key aspects of the role that will have changing focus as the position develops.
Recruitment
To be involved in the recruitment of a small range of specialist positions that are vital to the success and operational effectiveness of the business.
Ensure that the management team are fully trained in effective interviewing.
Meeting agreed time scales
Capability
To gain a full understanding of and provide training with managers on the process of personal development.
Promoting the personal development programs and making sure that the programs are part of the induction process.
Succession planning and Talent Management
Looking at each area of the business and providing a clear and updated succession plan based on performance and potential.
Work with the HR team to ensure talent is effectively utilized and deployed across the country
Employee Relations
To be an expert within the business areas and to act as the first point of contact for enquires
Ensure line managers are aware of employment legislation and related company policies.
The successful candidate:
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with HR Experience gained in a fast paced environment
Will be able to demonstrate experience of operating at and influencing senior operations managers
Strong communication skills
IT Literate with good numeric and verbal reasoning skills
Be able to travel to a number of southern UK locations
