Job Title:Regional HR Manager – Southern Region
Location: Birmingham with Travel
Salary: c£50,000 – c£60,000 + Bens

A great opportunity has just become available for a HR Manager to work for a market-leading organisation with an enviable reputation and an excellent culture and people focused values. With a number of sites throughout the UK this role will provide an outstanding HR support service to a number of distribution centres in the Southern Region.
The Role
With powerful brand and a well know name you will be an expert HR Manager with the strength of character to help drive the business forward through the delivery of its people agenda challenging the management team to demonstrate a leadership style to support this agenda.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad generalist brief, providing advice and guidance in support of company goals and targets.
Key accountabilities will include:
Managing change to ensure effective implementation of company principles
Building relationships with trade unions
Managing long term sickness and absence cases
Managing complex ER issues
Driving interventions that continually improve the HR agenda
The Person
Of graduate calibre and CIPD qualified or equivalent, you are likely to have a HR management or Business Partner experience gained within a large, multi site organisation with in-depth knowledge of generalist HR issues, ideally gained within Supply Chain, Logistics or Distribution. Innovative and creative you will have experience worked across a number of sites and experience of working with trade unions is essential together with working collaboratively with multi functional teams to deliver an effective HR service. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver change and have a strong enough character to be able to influence senior management.
