Are you ready to make a career move to an exciting and rapidly growing European business and fast becoming a market leader? Our client is in search for a German speaking HR Advisor to provide support to the UK and German businesses. This is a varied and rewarding HR Advisor opportunity that will allow you to utilise you German language skills whilst developing your HR experience. You will be commercially aware with a passion and commitment to making a valued difference to the business success. Supporting the International HR Manager, you will be responsible for end to end recruitment, employee relations, management reporting, training, compensation and other HR projects.
You responsibilities will include:
• Liaising with line managers and using appropriate method for recruitment
• Advertising vacant position using appropriate media or the use of agencies
• Short listing candidates, conducting competency based interviews and co-ordinating selection centres
• Liaising with all stakeholders during the recruitment process
• Responsible for all associated administration such as offer letters, starter packs and references
• Managing all leaver process – resignations, terminations, redundancy
• Providing a consultative and advisory HR service to the line managers and employees
• Providing support and leading, if required, grievance and disciplinary procedure
• Coaching line managers in all HR matters
• Updating HR policies and procedures in line with UK and German legislation
• Updating and maintaining the HR database and provide any necessary HR reporting data
• Initiating and project managing various HR projects
You will have proven experience as a UK HR generalist in a dynamic and pressurised environment and ideally will be CIPD qualified or a studier. You will have strong business German language skills and possess drive and enthusiasm. Additionally, you will have experience in end to end recruitment, employee relations and UK employment law. Knowledge of German employment law will be a distinctive advantage. Naturally, strong communication and organisational skills are also required.
