Job Description

“HR CAREERS” are pleased to be recruiting for an outstanding financial services market leader based in Warwickshire. HR CAREERS are recruiting a talented, CIPD qualified Human Resources Advisor to work in this busy office.

To provide a comprehensive Human Resource Service which supports the Human Resource and Business Strategic and Operational Plan and which ensures excellent customer service and high customer satisfaction.

Responsible for:
• Providing an efficient, effective and confidential Human Resource Service and such other activities as required to a designated client group.
• Establishing close client relationship as part of local management team in order to respond to and meet client’s requests for advice, guidance and information across a spectrum of HR issues.
• Responsible for providing a specified range of services and supporting Group HR specialists and the HR Service Centre Advisors in the design, development and implementation of systems, policies and processes which support such services. Including:
• Recruitment Assessment and Selection of Staff
• Employment Relations and Communications
• Performance Management
• Interpretation and application of Employment Legislation
• Organisation Change and Effectiveness
• Monitoring and Provision of Management Information
• Applying Best Practice Human Resource Policies and Procedures
• Terms and Conditions of Employment
• Rewards and Benefits Systems
• Workforce Planning & Succession Planning
• Supports Learning & Development with team, management and individual development

• Maintain and develop computer and paper based information systems and databases. Producing analyses and reports as requested including the completion of statutory and organisational standardised data and returns.

Person Profile:

Qualifications: Qualified to HNC/Degree level
Graduate CIPD

Experience: Professional, generalist experience of Human Resource Management in a pro-active and customer focused environment.
Applying consultancy approach
Full appreciation of UK Employment legislation

Skills: IT literate, ability to use a variety of software e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and HR systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, a team player able to quickly develop credibility with staff and management.
Strong analytical thinker, with effective written and oral presentation skills.
