This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a Foundation Trust for 3-6 months. Due to a restructure, the vacancy has arisen available for an individual to support the HR Business Consultants and HR Consultants in developing and embedding the Trust's corporate business goals, vision and values through ensuring strong employee relations, business focused HR policies and procedures, and provision of an effective HR consultancy support service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide an effective and flexible HR Consultancy support service to the Trust across a range of employee relations matters such as recruitment, discipline, grievance or absence management.
- Assist and advise line managers in the management of disciplinary, capability, bullying and harassment and grievance issues, promoting prompt resolution where possible.
- Assist and advise line managers in investigatory processes and assist with the preparation and presentation of cases when necessary.
- Provide pro-active support in the management of absenteeism, including participation in sickness absence reviews where necessary.
- Deliver training programmes for line managers throughout the Trust, in relation to HR policies and procedures.
- To provide telephone support, on a rota basis, to all staff queries on the “HR Advice Line”
- Advise managers on Trust HR policies, providing advice and guidance on how these should be implemented and interpreted ensuring that there is consistency in application.
- Participate in HR projects under the direction of the HR Consultants as required.
You must have previous experience in an HR Advisor role and be available to start work immediately or within the next couple of weeks.
