This is a role for a Human Resources Business Partner to do a regional HR role across a series of depots. My client is part of a multinational, market leading organisation that uses a true business partner approach within HR to add value and make improvements across the business.
Key responsibilities:
•Provide effective HR operational support that adopts a pro active business partner approach that supports their management team in the achievement of their short and long term objectives.
•Ensure sound management of manpower planning, organisational design, budgeting, recruitment and induction.
•Work with management teams to find business focused, cost effective solutions that drive employee development.
•Encourage and facilitate management teams delivering effective communications processes and initiatives.
•Establish Performance Management as a key tool in driving good performance and challenging poor /average performance.
•Provide robust employee relations support and advice that ensures that liabilities are properly managed, employees are treated fairly and that poor performance is addressed.
•Work closely with managers / management teams in order to mutually establish HR service priorities and standards that add maximum value to the businesses operations.
•Champion, together with their management teams, the consistent adoption of a people culture and an ethical approach to management that is firmly based on the Company Commitment.
•Undertake project work, to develop, maintain and continuously improve HR systems, policies and processes to ensure that best practice solutions that add cost effective and consistent benefits to the business are adopted.
The right candidate for this role will have wide ranging HR experience and will want to stay involved in the operational side of HR but will also be a strategic thinker and able to liaise with the senior management team.
