Interim HR Adviser required to contribute to and take responsibility for the effective delivery of a comprehensive personnel service, through a Service Level Agreement. The post holder has autonomy in respect of managing a portfolio of employee relations casework under the overall direction of the Team Manager and associated team resources.
Provide professional advice and consultancy to Managers and staff in all employment matters, including staffing structures, discipline, grievance, redundancy, staff absence, recruitment, selection and grading issues, in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.
Manage a caseload in respect of the full range of employee relations issues.
Assist in the development, delivery and review of Service Level Agreements, ensuring at all times, the provision of services of the highest quality, to meet the expectations of Service users.
Contribute to the development, review and implementation of policies relating to employee relations and co-ordination of consultations with Trade Unions.
Assist in the development and management of the Authority's personnel policies and Practices which reflect changing needs and demands in the employment and development of staff.
You will require:
Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and developments in personnel policy and practice.
Proven analytical skills in managing complex problems.
Project management skills
