My client is leading business in its field and are currently looking for an Employee Relations Advisor on an interim basis covering for a period of maternity.
The Employee Relations team provide objective and pragmatic advice and support to line managers and colleagues on company policies and employment legislation such as absence management, disciplinary, grievance, union negotiations and counselling.
As an Employee Relations Advisor you will advise on disciplinary, appeal and grievance situations and compile non-standard letters, support with the development of procedures, policy guidance notes, standard letters and supervise the Employee Relations Administrators. You will also manage an up to date reference library on all employment law changes, in order to provide information to colleagues on request.
You will also supervise the day-to-day administration of employment tribunal cases for the Company, allocating the appropriate resources to deal with cases effectively, liaising with witnesses and solicitors.
On an annual basis you will be involved in the national union wage negations, working with internal and external colleagues to research union legislation, scheduling meetings and overseeing the production of meetings agendas.
