My client is a leading legal organisation who are now looking to recruit an experienced HR Officer to join their busy HR team in South Yorkshire. You will responsible for a headcount of around 100 staff and will therefore need to demonstrate experience of working within a large organisation. The main duties of the role will be generalist but will focus on certain specific areas. In particular you will be involved in end to end resolution of an ER issues. This will be the entire process from initial reception of the grievance or disciplinary right through to resolution including where necessary written warnings and dismissal. You will need to taken ownership of this process and be able to take this process away from the line managers You will also be involved in other generalist HR duties such as managing absence and sickness both short and long term, as well as reviewing policy and procedures and supporting line managers across the business with HR advice and guidance. Ideally you will be part of fully CIPD qualified and will be able to help maintain the companies strong people focused ethos. You will need to be able to work well within a team as well as working pro-actively and also be able to build strong business relationships.
