Job Description
HR Staff Search are working closely with one of the top public sector organisations in the Yorkshire are. The role will be a 9 month position covering a maternity.
Within this role, you will provide advice and support on a wide range of day to day HR queries and work with managers on casework issues, ensuring consistency and best practice. You will have generalist knowledge in the HR field and experience of working with HR policies and procedures.
Another key aspect to the role is co-ordinating the work of one of the HR Administration Teams to deliver a comprehensive HR Service, including recruitment and selection, Agenda for Change and terms and conditions of employment.
To be successful in this post, you will possess strong interpersonal and judgement skills and be able to communicate effectively in all situations. It is essential that you are able to work as part of a team and work on your own initiative. Excellent organisational skills are also a requirement.
We are looking for someone who wants to become more involved in the HR profession. Therefore, ideally, you will be CIPD part qualified, or be willing to work towards the CIPD qualification.
This is a 9 months temporary fixed term contract to cover maternity leave starting in October 2009.
