HR Manager - Hamburg, Germany - up to 60,000 Euros
Working for this household Internet firm based in Hamburg to operate as an HR Manager, providing professional generalist HR support to Business Leaders, their management teams and their employees in Germany, Switzerland and Russia. The role will involve building relationships at all levels of the organisation. You will advise Managers on HR best practice and HR strategy, being consistent wherever possible with the broader European HR strategy. You will be the HR spokesperson for your Region at European HR meetings and on weekly conference calls.
Your responsibilities will be to;
- Lead and deliver pan EMEA HR Change & Business projects against defined timeline's and business targets
- Work closely with the Works Councils
- Provide HR Support to aligned business groups
- Accountability for headcount management, attendance at business reviews, coaching of management team and employee issue resolution
- Actively participate and influence the delivery of the people strategy including the development of bespoke HR solutions for business issues
- In conjunction with HR Manager EMEA Team and business leaders deliver a clear and concise talent management and performance strategy "DPM"
- You will be the key point of contact and key conduit for Recruitment Management in the region, with support from the central Recruitment Team for Europe
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Generalist HR Experience for a medium or large organisation
- Experience of operating with Works Councils in delivering transformational projects in support of the business
- Proven experience of project management - delivering against defined timelines and objectives
- Experience of working with HR counterparts in other European countries
- Experience of providing HR business partnership to Senior management and Exec level
- Experience of providing HR support across multiple European countries
- Experience of working in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Technical knowledge and ability to work in cross functional teams
- Ability to lead, manage and implement strategic change
- Ability to assess development/training needs and make recommendations to meet business needs
- Experience within a matrix organisation
- Graduate level education
- Fluent in German and business English
- HR qualified
- Expert knowledge of German labour law and Works Constitution Act
- Regional and / or pan EMEA experience
- Proven communication skills at Executive level
- Presentation skills
- Change management expertise
- A passion for the web
