Working for a progressive Professional Services firm based in Birmingham City Centre. We are looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager, working as an integral part of the Partnership and Management team.
We are looking for a CIPD qualified HR professional with previous experience of working within a professional services environment. You will have a solid generalist background with strong employee relations and project management skills. You will be involved closely with day to day HR related issues at all levels within the firm. Personal qualities will include excellent communication and influencing skills, the ability to build and sustain relationships quickly and you will be an individual who is going to bring fresh ideas and passion to the business
Key Duties will include …
•Provide 1 to 1 support for Partners and Managers in all HR related matters to ensure consistency of approach.
•Manage, develop and lead the Payroll and HR Administrator and Partnership Secretary.
•Attend Partnership meetings as required and provide regular reports and updates on all HR matters.
•Proactively manage all HR procedures including the bi-annual salary review process to ensure consistency of approach and that deadlines are achieved.
•Produce new policies and updates to existing policies for the firm as appropriate and in line with legislative changes.
•Provide a point of reference for all employees regarding HR related issues.
•Provide on going and ad hoc advice to Partners and Managers on all employee related matters including sickness management, performance management and day to day people management issues.
•Coach Managers and Partners on work related issues to ensure that Managers and Partners continue to develop their people management skills.
•Provide hands on support for Partners and Managers in disciplinary and grievance hearings and all other employee relations issues.
•In conjunction with the IT Manager, manage the day to day responsibility for HR related aspects of Data Protection, including the management of the Data Protection Policy.
•Provide support to the Office Manager in all areas relating to Health an d Safety for the firm.
•Manage the recruitment and selection for the firm, including support staff, managerial and professional appointments.
