My client is looking to recruit an HR professional for a 9 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The focus of the role is to provide for the smooth running of all HR operations across the company and will work closely with senior management and support the other functions in the business where appropriate. The role will also act as the key point of contact for employees on initial HR queries. It is essentially a generalist position covering everything from employee relations, compensation & benefits, payroll, policy and procedures, sickness and absence reporting and recruitment. In addition, there will be some HR administration to deal with, such as employment contracts, appraisals and also coordinating training and development sessions for the business. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent people skills, be adaptable and be able to deal with a wide range of issues at any one time and maintain the excellent relationship that HR has with the business
