My client is looking for a Training & Development Manager to be based in Newbury
You will Develop and deliver a Group-wide staff training and development strategy for the organisation that supports the delivery of business objectives including continuous improvement and complies with best practice.
Key Responsibilities
Consult widely to devise, promote and deliver a training and development strategy that empowers individuals and supports the achievement of organisational objectives
Develop a training and development culture that is valued and ensure that the training and development strategy supports corporate and job specific competencies and promotes customer focus and continuous improvement
In conjunction with the IT team, ensure that all operational IT systems are developed, fully exploited and that operational policies and procedures are fully integrated and aligned to systems
Ensure that all staff are trained in core and job specific competencies including policies, procedures and systems in order to achieve optimal performance and customer focus
Work with HR to develop and deliver a performance monitoring framework, which is supported by the identification of core and job specific competencies and training
Explore and implement alternative and innovative approaches to training practice
Introduce an evaluation framework which demonstrates how the investment in staff training and development contributes to the achievement of business objectives
