Job Description

Our client is a well known and exciting business based in Milton Keynes. They are currently looking for a HR Manager to join their fantastic HR Team on a permanent basis. Working within the commercial team you will operate as a true business partner, working closely with the executive team. You will work with the business to fully understand performance issues, objectives and drivers associated with people requirements for both current and future business needs.

Key Accountabilities:
•In conjunction with the UK HR Director, the HR Key Account Manager, and other Human Resources Managers, responsible for contributing to and delivering a consistent HR Strategy and Annual Plan.
•Anticipating and advising on HR activities which support the delivery of corporate objectives and strategy. Ensure all HR activity complies with company policy and procedure and UK legislation.
•Develop and sustain credible working relationships with key stakeholders in the business with an ability to influence.
•Developing and implementing policies and procedures to support assigned business areas and compliance with current and proposed legislation. Providing specialist HR advice and ensuring adherence to all current policy and UK legislation.
•Responsible for all aspects of resourcing including developing recruitment strategies, advising on selection methods and determining appropriate salary levels.
•Providing employee relations advice and support to line managers on issues including performance, absence, discipline and grievance. Coaching line managers and staff in all aspects of HR policy and procedure.
•Managing and/or participating in HR and/or business projects in line with current key business priorities.
•Ensuring accurate and timely processing of annual salary review and bonus payments. Support in Hay job evaluation processes and support in employee reward activities.
•Identifying and agreeing training and development support to ensure appropriate level of skills and knowledge are in place to meet ongoing business needs, and approving training and development costs.

This position requires a bright and articulate individual who is technically strong and intelligently robust. Candidates will be of graduate calibre and ideally CIPD qualified and will have a solid HR generalist background. A proven track record of project management and the ability to work within a matrix structure is essential. You will be a strong relationship builder with a pragmatic approach. Creditability, gravities, confidence, and the ability to influence and persuade are paramount to the success of this role.
