Job Description
My client is a worldwide charity specialising in the promotion of animal care. Due to their drive to provide a better and more effective service we are looking to recruit for an HR manager initially on a 6 month fixed term contract though with a view to becoming a permanent employee.
You will lead the development of a quality HR service for the charity across its global locations. Working with each regional HR presence you will work to ensure consistency of process and compliance across the businesses. You will also assist in the set up of new operations abroad.
Closer to home you will be establishing policies and processes in line with existing and upcoming legislation. Establishing and overseeing a performance management process. You will take on responsibility of Health and Safety as well as the management of a Learning and Development Manager.
You will be CIPD qualified with up-to-date employment legislation. You will have people management experience and will have effective and culturally sensitive communication skills. There will be travel to other locations involved therefore all applicants must be prepared to travel for 4-5 weeks per year.
