A leading international Law Firm is looking for an HR Manager to join their team in London on an interim basis for 4 months. You will report into the Head of HR and your responsibilities will include: · Provide expert advice on performance management issues for support and fee-earning staff; · Understand the reward issues relevant to the Department, including market pressures and reward activities; · To contribute to the development and implementation of a business focussed HR plan; · Work with Department and central Learning and Development team to ensure that partners and staff are equipped with the skills necessary to carry out their jobs to a high level; · Work with the central OD team to establish a structured approach to managing people through the change; · HR Policy and Specialist Advice and Employment Administration. The successful candidate will: · Be a strong HR generalist who is operating at managerial level; · Have previously worked for a Law Firm or Professional Services organization; · Ideally be available immediately (or be able to start before September 2010); · Be educated to degree level or equivalent.
