Job Description

The Background

Worldwide, prestigious blue chip manufacturer is going from strength to strength and is currently seeking a HR Assistant to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to evolve your HR experience by supporting the HR team.


The Role

Working 3 days on and 3 days off on a 12 hour shift pattern.

Reporting to the HR Officer, you will be providing a first class support service to the HR Team and the business across a site of c700 employees. Other duties involved will be:

· To assist in the site recruitment and selection processes
· Producing accurate HR reports and statistics on a periodic basis
· Support and advise line management in disciplinary, grievance and attendance procedures
· Maintain HR database and all other ad hoc duties as required

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally be CPP qualified or working towards with experience of working within HR. You will have administrative experience within a HR function and you will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, have the ability to prioritise high volumes of work, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and have the ability to work off their own initiative when required.
