Job Description

Our client are a nationally recognised not for profit organisation who are actively looking to add a Health & Safety Advisor to their Health & Safety team. Ideal applicants will have experience of a multi-site role and/or worked within a local government or public sector environment. Provide a health, safety and environmental information and advisory service across ECHG working in conjunction with other departments. Formulate and develop corporate occupational safety, health and welfare policies. Monitor the operation of these policies by independent auditing to ensure consistency and effectiveness of approach, and provide training and instruction as necessary. NEBOSH or IOSH accredited. Implement efficient and value for money Health and Safety initiatives. Proactively support and facilitate the delivery of the Health and Safety Strategy and to work in partnership with agencies, individuals and other groups. Salary 25,000 plus benefits.
