Job Description

Our client is a leading support services business, with a large Health & Safety Department. They now have £1.1 Billion market capitalisation in their market and really are moving from strength to strength. With this market presence they now have an opportunity for a Regional Health & Safety Manager to assist in the provision of a comprehensive advise in all aspects of Health & Safety and Environmental matters, including liaison with managers, staff, the Customer and other relevant internal and external parties. Responsibilities include: Establish and develop the strategy for the implementation and support of the appropriate Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001). Provision and analysis of statistical data on Health & Safety and Environmental trends and occurrences for the contract. Provide an advisory and approval service for the generation of Health & Safety and Environmental plans and monitor their implementation and effectiveness. Carry out inspections, surveillance and monitoring of operational and business activities as required, and provide direct report and feedback. In return our client are offering a salary of up to £32,000 plus a fully expensed company car or allowance.
