H R Manager

As a large group of dynamic and rapidly expanding Manchester based companies we are constantly seeking to attract and develop the best talent, to assist us in this we are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager. The right candidate must have a successful track record and be able to work quickly and cost effectively.  You must be an excellent communicator, be confident, adept at negotiation and able to work across a number of different group companies. Ultimately we are looking for someone who is passionate about developing a working culture in which people want to invest their careers.

The HR Manager will be developing, implementing and monitoring strategies to ensure alignment with the organisations business objectives, including:

• Recruitment & Selection;
• Performance management;
• Succession planning;
• Training and development;
• Employee relations strategies including grievance and disciplinary procedures;
• Absence management;
• Providing advice and guidance to senior managers on HR issues;
• Compilation and implementation of HR policies and procedures;
• Producing management reports and presenting findings to the Management Team at review meetings;
• Employee welfare and occupational health issues;

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• CIPD qualified;
• Considerable experience of working in a HR role;
• Multisite experience;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels;
• Excellent organisational skills and hands on approach;
