Divisional HR Manager / Human Resources Manager / Field Based
Location: Field Based covering homes in the South of UK
Circa £38,000 - £42,000 plus Car Allowance and Benefits
Our client is the UK's leading independent provider of specialist care for adults and younger people with a range of needs. These include learning disabilities, mental health problems, physical disabilities, dementia and nursing care for older people. They operate over 230 care homes, supported living units and independent hospitals as well as specialist educational colleges, caring for and supporting over 5000 people. They are committed to ensuring that the care and support they deliver to individuals is unique and person centred.
They are currently looking for a Divisional HR Manager to join their Older People Division. The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive and professional HR operational support to the Divisional Managing Director and their team. Your responsibilities will include advising operational managers on all employment related matters and providing coaching and support to the team. You will be required to assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures and take an active role in business projects such as Home sales, acquisitions and reorganisations.
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified and be used to remote working and a multi site environment. You will possess demonstrable experience in generalist HR delivery and possess strong knowledge of relevant employment legislation. You will have the ability to gain results through influencing others. You will have a positive approach to your work and be prepared to travel widely within the 19 homes in the south of the UK. You will also deal with our 4 homes in Scotland although the majority of the time these can be dealt with remotely. Air travel will be provided when you do have to visit Scotland. The Divisional Office is based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, it is therefore essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and are prepared for overnight stays as required.
