Job Description

Our client is a leading professional services organisation based in Borehamwood, they are currently looking for a talented and business focused HR Manager for a period of 12mths to cover maternity leave.

The role will report into the Senior HR Manager and will take responsibility for designated areas of the business and will build strong working relationships with the Senior Management Teams to ensure HR support links strongly with the businesses' objectives.

We are looking for CIPD qualified candidates with previous experience working in a corporate environment, it is just as important that you have an excellent ER background to include dismissals and ideally managing ET claims as well as working with the business in a commercial manner.

· The production & implementation of appropriate HR action plans in relation to reorganisations, restructures and the deployment of people management initiatives;
· Ensuring that all proposed HRD solutions are cost effective and add value to the business i.e. cost analysis of all activities;
· Taking the HR lead in complex employee relations and people related matters (up to and including dismissal/ET claims);
· Advising and guiding the management population in all aspects of employee relations including: complex grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, capability/ performance related matters, change management, reward management, recruitment & selection etc
· Developing and delivering the suite of management workshops and supporting the L&D Manager in the deployment of management training programmes;
· Analysing HR Management Information to highlight key trends/issues and working with the management team to formulate action plans to address the same;
· Working with senior management in recruitment/selection.
· Ensuring that HR Policies and Procedures and Terms and Conditions of employment are consistently applied across the organization.

You must be CIPD qualified with experience working within a corporate and fast moving environment. There is the strong possibility that this role will end up going permanent for the right individual.
