The Background
A leading public sector organisation with a large HR department is currently seeking to recruit a HR Systems leader to champion the HRIS function following a period of post implementation transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to not only join an environment experiencing change, but to have ownership of all HR Information Systems related issues.
The Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the HR Systems Director, you will manage a system support team and third party relationships with 3 strategic partners. You will lead, drive and develop the integrated HR & Payroll system, ensuring successful access and functionality, supporting change, transformation and development to ensure that the system is offering maximum benefit to the organisation.
You will help to develop HRIS related strategy, ensuring with the HR Systems Director, that the future HRIS landscape is in place.
Acting as the functional lead in all HRIS related change projects, you will seek to improve processes where possible, ensuring all modules are up to date and following through with any change initiatives designed and developed within the HRIS management meetings.
The Professional
The organisation is seeking to recruit an experienced HRIS professional with preferable working experience of Midland software, although experience of any other HR system is welcomed. You will be a well-rounded HR technology leader with experience in driving the function and any HRIS related change initiatives, you will have both strategic and operational experience. You will have experience of supplier management and will be able to work closely with departmental heads.
