This is a regional role that covers the North West, North East and Scotland. Extensive travel is to be expected as part of the role. The appointed person should expect frequent travel to the offices in Scotland, Leeds, Warrington, The Midlands and Maidenhead. They will be required to travel at a moments notice and should expect to be based in the office no more than 2 days a week.
The maximum base salary for this role is £44K plus a company car.
This role requires an experienced HR Manager who is used to partnering with line management on a regional basis to provide a consistent and dedicated HR service. The role requires an individual who has a history of dealing with employee relations, compliance, TUPE, and performance management. The role will also require exposure to change including, restructures, mergers & acquisitions and downsizing. This role also has a strong resourcing bias, and the successful candidate will be a strong champion and ambassador for all resourcing initiatives to include attraction, processes and selection. Given the autonomous nature of this role, it demands a certain strength and tenacity of character that is used to working alone and as part of a team, with minimal supervision and daily input. It is imperative that the successful candidate works well on an individual basis but given the remoteness of the role, immerses themselves with the existing HR team as much as possible to ensure strong communication and consistency across the business.
The candidate will display high levels of emotional intelligence, and have the ability to immediately establish credibility and strong relationships across the business, based on trust and confidence.
