Job Description
The role is a key role supporting both the operations and senior management teams, responsible for the end to end HR service as well as defining on site strategy. The key demands of the role are:
• Delivery of full HR service to their business area
• Ensuring people and organisational plans align to with the business strategy
• Lead people strategy on site including resourcing, legal responsibilities, Trade Union interfaces and managing key external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships with HR team, managers and clients as well as Trade Union officials
• Develop and drive effective talent management and capability development
• Support projects as and when required
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
• An understanding of translating business strategy into HR strategy and planning
• The ability to influence trade unions and work with multiple stakeholders
• An in depth understanding of employment law
• Strong influencing skills, including facilitation and coaching skills as well as the ability to present and debate.
