HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Based North West Salary up to £55k plus Benefits
Our Client is a global manufacturer, within the Automotive sector, supplying components and systems to leading OEMs worldwide. A plant based vacancy now exists for a HR professional who can steer their strategies for growth and provide an unrivalled service to the senior management team and their employees.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Human Resources Manager will provide a high quality service, liaising with a team of Managers on delivery of best practice HR processes and policies. Contributing to the HR strategy, you will be responsible for employee relations, working with unions, take the lead in disciplinary grievance procedures and deliver best practice across operations over two sites.
Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards it, with a strong technical background gained within a unionised, manufacturing environment, you will have demonstrated a track record in generalist HR. Task orientated with the ability to build effective relationships with key managers, you will adopt a proactive approach to managing the HR function.
A self starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be persuasive, able to coach people to higher levels of performance, be positive and constructive whilst interacting with others. This is a highly visible role and comes with autonomy therefore, it is not for the faint-hearted.
