My Client are a well established brand within their niche field. Due to maternity, they are seeking to appoint an interim HR Manager to ensure the smooth running of the HR department on a day to day basis and to lead on current and upcoming projects which include redundancy & re-structure initiatives. Reporting directly to the HR Director, the key responsibilities will be:
Lead the day to day running of the HR department
Field all high level Employment Law issues / escalations
Represent the HR department at Management meetings
Ensure HR's profile and visibility remains high during ongoing periods of change
Lead the TUPE transfer of 120 incoming staff following recent takeover
Lead the redundancy / redeployment of 50 staff
The successful candidate will be an experience HR Manager, be CIPD qualified and have strong experience of Redundancy consultation, TUPE and managing change. Ideally you will have pan European experience but this is not essential.
Regular travel will be involved between the North West and West Midlands. A clean driving licence is therefore essential. Mileage / Travel costs will be covered. You will be immediately available to interview and start. Contract duration is 6 months.
