An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Officer to work in the Shropshire area. This is a generalist role covering all aspects of HR.
Responsibilities:
•Provide professional support and guidance in all HR issues
•Daily management of the HR Function and HR Administrator
•Coach people managers in employee related issues
•Involvement in industrial relations processes, including negotiations and consultations
•Manage and administer the annual pay review process
•Drive absence management and long term sick processes. Coaching line managers to handle cases appropriately
•Implement HR policies and procedures
•Provide guidance and support to managers in disciplinary and grievance matters.
•Identify training needs and co-ordinate training activities in line with Group policy.
•Deliver in-house training
Experience;
Proven experience of delivering on HR activity.
Experience of working within a management team, preferably within manufacturing
Previous experience of working within a unionised environment
Likely to have or working towards CIPD qualifications or equivalent.
