My client a charity is looking to recruit a People Development Manager for a 3 month assignment starting from mid June. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, the position will provide overall direction and implementation of key management development and staff development activities to support the achievement of the business strategy aimed at increasing the skills and productivity of the workforce. You will be involved in developing and delivering a comprehensive management development and staff development service across the business, lead an ongoing programme of management and staff development activity and ensure that the organisation develops a high performing culture centered on the delivery of excellence. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Learning and Development practitioner, possess high level of interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, show ability to provide innovative solutions to problems and work with managers to analyse situations, identify issues and develop tailored strategies to address them. There will be some travel involved in this role for approximately 3 days a fortnight.
