Job Ref: AS/20311/BDM Package: c£40-50,000.00 + Excellent Benefits Location: Home Based South East Job type: Business Development Manager Position type: Permanent Hours: Full-time Contact name: Andy Shaw Contact Company: JAM Mobility The Background: Due to growth this leading relocation services firm is actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. The successful applicant will be required to contact and visit corporate clients with the aim of promoting the company. Youll also be required to represent the company at conferences and industry related events. Whilst the position will be home-based you will be required to visit employers premises on a regular basis and will also be required to attend the companys head offices periodically as required. The Role: Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will include but not limited to the following: Ability to proactively develop new business volume from new and existing clients Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills Understanding and knowledge of the Relocation Industry Proven successful sales experience in a B2B environment Able to time manage and prioritise workflow Good networking skills, with proven ability to optimise both internal and external contacts IT Literate, including Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Able to read, interpret and respond to tender documents The Person: The successful candidate will have a proven sales record within the relocation services market. Previous experience developing new business relationships within: global mobility, international assignment or expatriate management environments will also be considered. Applicants will have an excellent understanding of the relocation market and be competent at managing existing client and developing new business relationships. Applicants with business development experience gained outside of the relocation services sector need not apply.
