Job Description
Based in Exeter, the Personnel Officer will be responsible for assisting throughout a period of restructure. You will be responsible for a mixture of project work and day to day Personnel issues. Working alongside an existing Officer, your work will include; devising policies, re-writing job descriptions, harmonising terms and conditions, ER issues,including long-term sickness cases, grievances and disciplinary.
The successful Personnel Officer must have the following key skills:
CIPD qualified
Strong HR background
Able to think logically and take a proactive approach
Able to work with minimal supervision
Able to work within a diverse organisational culture
Self-motivated with a positive / can-do attitude
Public sector body currently going through an exciting and challenging period of growth and change.
£25k pro rata / £15 per hour
Fixed Term contract until end of March 2009
