Head Of Human Resources - £55,000 plus - South Yorkshire, well known established manufacturing company
Excellent opportunity for someone to take this key role within the senior Executive Team. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of a company-wide Human Resources strategy to enable and respond to the continued growth of the organisation.
Although the role is based primarily in Yorkshire, there is a close-working relationship with the sites in China and Europe and interaction with other group companies in USA.
To support the company's continued plans for change and growth, the Company is seeking an enthusiastic, driven and highly experienced individual to join the Executive Team. The role reports directly into the Group MD and working closely with him you will develop sustainable strategies to optimise the people resource by driving through further benefits to include the areas of Talent Management, Training and Development and Change Management together with your attendance to Board Meetings.
You will be accustomed to working at a strategic level with a demonstrable track record in operational Human Resources Management, you will have an understanding of workforce re-design, IT/HR system development, strong influencing skills and proven ability and history of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment. The role has 2 HR reports reporting in.
Candidate Profile
You will have at least 10 years HR Management experience of which a significant proportion should be within a fast paced environment and at a senior level
Graduate calibre and MCIPD or FCIPD qualified
Experience of delivering strategic projects - with particular emphasis on Change Management
Development of HR strategies in an ever changing manufacturing environment
Design and delivery of staff and management development programmes
Performance management systems including reward structures
Staff communication and consultation
Good knowledge of employment law
Recruitment and succession Planning experience and can demonstrate
